Spring Hill High School Band Welcomes You!

Spring Hill High School’s band program has become well known, not only for its high standards of performance, but also for the quality of experience given to its members. As you participate in the program and continue to grow, this will become more and more clear to you, as it has to literally hundreds of students before you. The pride and sense of camaraderie, that are the cornerstones of our band, will profoundly impact your future.

Band Camp Follow-Up

We have completed a very HOT – HOT - HOT band camp and the students are definitely pumped and ready for this year’s show!  We have an incredibly talented group of students and you will be nothing short of impressed when you see them in action!

We owe a huge THANK YOU to the following who dedicated their time, energy and talents in working with the students:  Daryl Jack, Anthea Click, Laura Salem, Cory Click, Katie Tidwell, Kris Callebs, Aubrey White, Holly Sanders, Mark Bridges and Martha Pearson.   A special thank you also goes out to Tonya Lawson, Lynn Lewis, Gary Merritts, Ron Scheusner and Jessica Dunnivant who worked with individual sections and to Marsha Lunn for the cooler of spirits of ammonia.

Uniform day went rather smooth this year thanks to the following who dedicated their afternoon in fitting each of the students:  Sean Bell, Doris Smith, Beth Richardson, Callie’s Aunt Jan, Martha Pearson, Kris Callebs, Paula Ensinger, Letitia Franklin, Barb Heidkamp, Jan Miller, Susan Davenport, Gowri Sivaainkaran, Pat Bridges, Brenda Howell and Michelle White.  Beth Richardson and Gowri Sivaainkaran are in the process of hemming a very large number of pants.  If you are willing to help please stop by the band room and ask to take some home!

Lunch for Freshmen Day was donated by McDonald’s of Maury County.  Ice Cream for the Freshmen ice cream social was donated by Foodlion.  Lunch for Freshmen/Sophomore Day was donated by Papa John’s Pizza and the Band Boosters.  A special thank you to Scott Wyrick for all the snacks and to all of you who  baked cookies and brownies and sent in soda.

Complimentary lunches were provided for directors, instructors and helpers by Domino’s Pizza, Jersey Mikes, Logans, Buffalo Wild Wings, Martha Pearson and Michelle White.

And finally, to each of the band students… thank you for your hard work, determination and commitment to the Spring Hill High School Band – YOU ARE AWESOME!
