| Spring Hill High School’s band program has become well known, not only for its high standards of performance, but also for the quality of experience given to its members. As you participate in the program and continue to grow, this will become more and more clear to you, as it has to literally hundreds of students before you. The pride and sense of camaraderie, that are the cornerstones of our band, will profoundly impact your future. | ||

Notes from Music Club PresidentAugust 26, 2010 - Mt. Pleasant Game. A promised donation of a trailer has not been yet been received, so the band must scrounge for a trailer for each away event. Michelle White searched for and was able to find a 3rd trailer for us to use on Friday. Mark Bridges is installing shelves in the new Boy Scout Troop 141 trailer and was able to let the band use it this one time on Friday. Let us know if you have access to an enclosed trailer that we can use to travel with. We can pick it up on Friday afternoon and return it on Friday night or Saturday after the competition. Our next away events are Friday, September 17 (East Hickman game) and Saturday, September 18 (Hendersonville competition). If your friend, neighbor, work, church or relative has a trailer, please ask. (The * after the name indicates that person volunteered already at a game or contest.)
Thanks to all the volunteers,
Larry Heidkamp, President SHHS Music Club
August 21, 2010 - Cannon County Game.
Thanks to the 3 groups of parents who volunteered at the game this evening. Besides the Pit Crew and the Chaperones, we've added a Parking Crew at the home games as a fund raiser. The inaugural game for the Parking Crew was a challenge due to heat and the huge attendance which caused the parking lots to overflow. The Parking Crew works through half time so they didn't get a chance to see tonight's performance. A special thanks to the families who had both parents volunteer tonight and to Darlene Jacobs and Mary White who do not have kids in the band.
The Pit Crew is coordinated by Michelle White and the crew on the field was: David Carpenter, Dan Hernandez, Tony Fuller, David Gross, Scott Wyrick, David Bell Chaperones are coordinated by Beth Hernandez and Beverly Fuller who were also chaperones tonight and were assisted by Sean Bell, Melissa Loggins, Diane Carpenter, Brenda Wyrick Joanne Kloby is the leader of the Parking Crew and was supported tonight by: Jon White, Stephanie Roselli, Rob Kloby, Mary White - alumni parent, and Darlene Jaco (a school bus driver who regularly drives the band to away games and competitions),
