Mr. Aaron Evens is in his 4th year as Director of Bands at Spring Hill High School.  Mr. Evens holds a Masters Degree in Instrumental Conducting from Central Michigan University, and Undergraduate degrees in Music Education from Ithaca College.  Prior to his appointment at Spring Hill, Mr. Evens has taught high school and middle school band programs for the past 17 years.  Mr. Evens is a 3 time GRAMMY Music Educator of the Year Quarterfinalist. He is an active judge with the Barbershop Harmony Society. He lives in Columbia, TN with his greyhounds Nala and Lincoln.

Mr. Taylor Huitema is in his first year as Band Director at Spring Hill High School.  A native of Oscoda, MI, Mr. Huitema is a graduate of Central Michigan University where he studied Saxophone with John Nichol.  Mr. Huitema also served as the drum major for the Central Michigan University Chippewa Marching Band.  He is a member of the Zenith Saxophone Quartet which released their debut album in 2021.  He lives in Columbia, TN with his pup, Aspen.

Ms. Lori Gaskins is the Color Guard Director for Spring Hill High School.  Ms. Gaskins is a native of Nashville, Tn and has been a color guard educator for 15 years.  Under her direction, the fall and winter guards at Spring Hill have earned regional and national acclaim for their excellence and design.  Lori lives in Nashville, TN with her pup Zodie.

Mr. Kenneth Calhoun is the Visual Coordinator of the Spring Hill Band.  Mr. Calhoun has been involved in pageantry for over 30 years as a performer, instructor and designer.  He frequently judges both bands and winter guards and has worked as a tabulator at WGI Championships.  He is an active member of Music City Bronze hand bell choir.  He is a resident of Nashville, TN.
